"Personally, I am pleased Edge Hill has issued such a robust response at what is quite clearly a politically motivated attack dressed up as research.
It is disappointing unions such as UCU refuse to acknowledge that the Coalition is having to make tough decisions because of 13 years of Labour waste which led us to the worst recession in living memory.
And whilst there are issues regarding Edge Hill and its impact on Ormskirk, nobody can argue with the fact it is very impressive facility which makes a significant contribution to the economy of West Lancashire as a whole."
